HASA-CIDE (Yellowith Green Algae Prevention + Control)

HASA-CIDE is used to control the growth of algae in swimming pools. HASA-CIDE is compatible with those chemicals normally used to treat pools and is effective at both acid and alkaline pH. HASA-CIDE is especially effective in pools treated with chlorine chemicals and may reduce the amount of those chemicals normally required.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
For pools having just visible algae growth: adjust chlorine level to 3.0 ppm, add an initial dose of 18-27 fluid ounces of HASACIDE per 10,000 gallons of water and remove settled algae debris by cleaning. For treatment of a freshly cleaned and filled pool: adjust chlorine level to 3.0 ppm, add initially 10-18 fluid ounces of HASACIDE per 10,000 gallons of water. To maintain pools free of visible algae growth, subsequent additions of 3.5-7 fluid ounces of HASACIDE per 10,000 gallons of water should be made every 5 to 7 days after the initial treatment. For maximum effectiveness pools containing heavy growth of algae should be cleaned prior to using HASACIDE, adjust chlorine levels to 10 ppm, then treat with 18-27 fluid ounces of HASACIDE.

After removing settled algae debris always backwash filter to remove all traces of algae. Swimming may be resumed when chlorine levels are 3.0 ppm or below. Keep this product dry in a tightly closed container, when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area away from heat or open flames. Do not mix HASACIDE with concentrated dry or liquid chlorine products.
