HELPFUL HINTS:Do not adjust pH and chlorinate at the same time. Always adjust pH first, when pH is between 7.2-7.6, then adjust chlorine level to 1.5-3.0ppm. Whenever chlorine residual is adjusted, allow filter and pump to run at least two hours after addition of chemical. Stabilizing orconditioningpool water with HASA Pool Conditioner (cyanuric acid) will protect chlorine from being destroyed by ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Cyanuric acid levels should be maintained in the 60- 80 ppm range. Follow label instructions on how to achieve proper level of cyanuric acid. HASA CHLORINATING GRANULES will increase the cyanuric acid levels 5 ppm per 6.5 oz.

DIRECTION FOR USE:The amount and frequency of use is governed by the number of swimmers, outside temperature, and contamination from outside sources, e.g., wind storms, rain, suntan oils, perspiration, and other human waste. Use a reliable test kit with fresh solutions to determine pH, amount of HASA CHLORINATING GRANULES necessary for sanitation, and alkalinity. Ideal swimming conditions are pH between 7.2- 7.6 ppm available chlorine residual between 1.5-3.00 ppm, and total alkalinity about 100 ppm.
